This blog is meant to catalogue comments about Cook County Circuit Court Judges with details about their demeanor, intellectual honesty, fairness, fund of knowledge of the law and procedure, judicial temperment, areas of expertise, mental health, judicial misconduct, cases they have decided and comments about their decisions, etc., so that the courts become more transparent and accountable to the world. We have to stop allowing the judges to be mysterious, onmipotent tyrants and start holding their feet to the fire.

I would like to speak with you about a a case before Judge Harmening (51st & Wentworth). About a month ago, my 72-year old mom (who is mentally disabled) was arrested by the police. We had a court date this past Thursday, June 18th and had to go back again on Friday, June 19th. The court proceedings can only be described as absurd and unfair.
